MOSES LAKE, Wash. (AP) — A bomb scare has closed a school in Moses Lake for the day.

The Columbia Basin Herald reports a tip early Tuesday led police to find what looks like either dynamite sticks or road flares taped together and placed under playground equipment at Larson Heights Elementary School.

Grant County Undersheriff John Turley says a bomb squad from Richland has been called.
