PORT ORCHARD, Wash. (AP) — A 72-year-old Kitsap County man was sentenced to more than three years in prison Monday in Port Orchard for a fatal shooting at an apartment complex.
Wallace G. Finlay pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death last May of 22-year-old Donald Axthelm.
The Kitsap Sun reports it’s unclear why Axthelm entered Finlay’s apartment, but Axthelm had been drinking. Finlay shot him as he tried to run away.
