ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) — Members of Gideons International have been distributing Bibles outside schools in Grays Harbor County.

The group was at Aberdeen High School earlier and at Montesano Junior-Senior High School on Thursday.

Superintendent Marti Harruff told KXRO the members must keep to city sidewalks, which are not technically school property. The evangelists are not allowed to approach or harass students.

Gideons member Fred Rapp says he has been distributing Bibles for more than 40 years and simply offers Bibles to passing students.
