SAN DIEGO (AP) — At least Norv Turner and the Chargers are consistent.

San Diego is 2-3 under Turner for the fourth straight season. The latest pratfall was a 35-27 loss at Oakland, ending the Chargers’ 13-game winning streak against their bitter rival.

Some Chargers are having terrific seasons, such as quarterback Philip Rivers and tight end Antonio Gates. But the Chargers are below .500 because of special teams meltdowns and turnovers.

Rivers says the players are mad at themselves for making errors. Coach Norv Turner, meanwhile, says he’s not going to play the blame game. He reiterates that Steve Crosby remains the special teams coach.
