CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) — B.J. Coleman passed for two touchdowns and ran for one as Chattanooga beat Georgia Southern 35-27 on Saturday night.
The Mocs (4-2, 3-1 Southern Conference) began the second half with a drive lasting 9:02 and led 21-20 after Coleman’s 11-yard run.
Three plays later, Chris Lewis-Harris recovered Lee Banks’ fumble at the 25 of the Eagles (3-3, 1-2). J.J. Jackson’s 3-yard run made it 28-20.
Coleman, who threw a 46-yard TD pass to Chris Awuah in the first quarter, made it 35-20 with a 43-yard TD to Brian Sutherland in the fourth. The 94-yard drive began with runs of 21 and 13 yards by Keon Williams.
