NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops is expected to be back at practice for the third-ranked Sooners on Tuesday after missing the team’s first session of the week to attend a funeral in Ohio.

Spokesman Kenny Mossman says Stoops was at the funeral of a childhood friend from Youngstown, Ohio, and missed the Sooners’ practice.

Oklahoma (6-0, 2-0 Big 12) held the No. 1 spot in the first BCS standings released on Sunday and will play at No. 18 Missouri (6-0, 2-0) on Saturday night.
