PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to arrests and convictions for robberies at two U.S. Bank branches in Portland last month.

Portland police said two people entered the banks wearing “theatrical” type masks, fired a hand gun into the ceiling and then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said the “takeover style” robberies occurred at a U.S. Bank branch in the 4700 block of Southeast Woodstock Street on Sept. 18 and at a branch in the 4900 block of Northeast 42nd Avenue on Oct. 8.

The reward is being offered by the Financial Institution Security Task Force.
