Lum, Spadola lead Lehigh past Bucknell 32-10

LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Chris Lum threw three touchdown passes to Ryan Spadola and Lehigh defeated Bucknell 32-10 on Saturday.

On the first drive of the game the Mountain Hawks (4-2, 1-0 Patriot League) marched 67 yards on eight plays, resulting in a 14-yard pass from Lum to Spadola.

Lehigh then scored on a 9-yard run by Zach Barket after John Veniero recovered a Bison fumble to give the Mountain Hawks possession.

After a field goal, Lum and Spadola teamed up again for a 14-yard pass, giving Lehigh a 23-7 lead at halftime.

Alex Eckard kicked a 27-yard field goal to pull Bucknell (1-6, 1-1) within 23-10 in the third quarter, but Lum and Spadola scored their third touchdown, for 32 yards, to pull away.

Lum was 19-for-33 with 269 yards and Spadola had 111 yards on six catches in Lehigh’s 13th straight win over Bucknell.
