Seattle in first, but injuries could mean changes

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Just as his Seattle Seahawks take over first place in the NFC West, Pete Carroll could be facing more shuffling on his offensive line.

Carroll says that rookie left tackle Russell Okung suffered a high-ankle sprain of his left ankle early in Sunday’s 22-10 win over Arizona that left Seattle (4-2) a game ahead of the Cardinals in the division. But Carroll adds that the sprain is not as severe as the same injury to Okung’s right ankle during the preseason that forced the sixth-overall pick in April’s draft to miss the first three weeks of the regular season.

Carroll was not ready to rule Okung out for this Sunday’s game at Oakland, but is moving forward with the idea that some shuffling will be needed for the Seahawks offensive line.
