Vancouver-based iStores Inc. and its owner, Adam Stites, will appear on “60 Minutes” when it airs 7 p.m. Sunday. Stites will discuss his opposition to ballot Initiative 1098, which would introduce a state income tax on individuals earning more than $200,000 and joint filers making more than $400,000.
“iStores has seen impressive growth over the past five years, despite the poor economy, but I-1098 has the potential to knock us and other companies like us off our feet by removing working capital from the business,” Stites said.
His business sells niche products including political toilet paper, gag gifts and paintball gear at multiple online sites.
