Dick, Robey lead Central Arkansas to 47-20 victory

CONWAY, Ark. (AP) — Nathan Dick threw for 351 yards and three touchdowns and Kenneth Robey caught three TD passes as Central Arkansas defeated Elizabeth City State 47-20 Thursday night.

Dick finished 26 of 35, and Robey had nine receptions for 151 yards as the Bears won their season opener.

Daronte McNeill rushed for 117 yards for the Vikings (1-1) while Dexter Manley caught five passes for 120 yards, including an 82-yard TD.

Central Arkansas trailed 14-7 after the first quarter but rallied with 20 unanswered points in the second. Terence Bobo’s 10-yard touchdown run late in the first half gave the Bears the lead for good.

Creven Powell threw for 260 yards and a TD for the Vikings.
