EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Police in Eugene are reminding University of Oregon football fans about a recent change in rules for tailgate drinking at Autzen Stadium.
Police say beer and other alcohol can be consumed up to four hours before the start of a scheduled game and up until the game is over in state-owned parking lots immediately adjacent to the stadium.
The rules also apply to property extended for use as a parking facility.
Police remind fans that providing alcohol to minors and consumption of alcohol by minors is prohibited, along with the sale of alcohol.
