Butler beats Division III Albion 29-13

ALBION, Mich. (AP) — Andrew Huck completed 20-of-31 passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns as Butler beat Albion 29-13 in a season-opening game Saturday.

Huck connected with Jordan Koopman on TD passes of 2 and 26 yards and with Zack Watkins on a 17-yard score.

David Lang kicked three field goals for the Bulldogs.

Butler finished with 519 yards of total offense.

Both of Albion’s scores came on long plays. Spencer Krauss connected with J.C. Cruse on a 71-yard-pass in the third quarter. Clinton Orr scored on a 48-yard for the Britons in the second quarter.

Krauss completed 11-of-25 passes for 145 yards and two interceptions.

Butler’s defense held Albion to 232 total yards.
