TORONTO (AP) — Raptors rookie forward Ed Davis is recovering after undergoing arthroscopic surgery to repair a meniscus tear in his right knee.

The team said Monday in a statement that Davis is expected to sidelined up to six weeks. He hurt his knee in a pickup game last Wednesday.

Toronto selected the 6-foot-10 Davis with the 13th overall pick in this year’s draft after he played two seasons at North Carolina.

The Raptors open training camp Sept. 28.
