MILAN (AP) — Flavio Briatore says he has no interest in returning to Formula One once his ban ends in 2013.

The former Renault team principal said on F1’s website that he is enjoying fatherhood and managing two of this season’s title contenders, Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber.

Briatore was banned from F1 for orchestrating a deliberate crash by Nelson Piquet Jr. at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix so Renault teammate Alonso could win.

He says he hopes Ferrari’s Alonso or Red Bull’s Webber wins this season’s title.
