Time is running out to see “Southern Hospitality,” the latest production from Slocum House Theatre Company. In the play, Honey Raye touts a townwide celebration as part of a pitch to woo a salsa company to move its operations to Fayro, Texas. The celebration, however, doesn’t exist. It’s up to Rhonda Lynn, Honey Raye, Twink and Frankie to put the event together in time for the company’s visit.
The production is one of several weekend entertainment options in Clark County and Portland. Others include a festival devoted to mushrooms and a concert that brings together several area musicians.
