If you’re motoring north through Clark County, you may want to take care of that potty break before you leave home.
The Gee Creek rest area, 11 miles north of the Columbia River on the northbound side of Interstate 5, is closed for routine annual maintenance through 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The closure began at 5:15 a.m. today.
The next rest area for northbound motorists is 43 miles away near the Toutle River — that is, if you can’t bring yourself to stop at a town, restaurant or myriad visitor attractions along the way.
