PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A 14-year-old Oregon boy wounded in a shooting near a Portland shopping mall has died.
Portland police said Shiloh Hampton died about 8:20 a.m. Wednesday at a hospital.
Hampton was with a group of friends at an intersection at Holladay Park across from the Lloyd Center mall when shots were fired at them Monday afternoon.
The Oregon State Medical Examiner will be conducting an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
Police said detectives are still investigating and looking for a late 1980s white Mercedes, lowered with tinted windows and chrome rims.
