YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — An 18-year-old hiker reported missing in the White Pass area is in good condition after spending the night in freezing temperatures.
Yakima County sheriff’s office Sgt. George Town says the Snohomish girl was camping with friends near Rimrock Lake Saturday when she became separated from her friends while on a hike.
Teams searched through the night for her. She was located Sunday morning after finding other campers.
Town says the teen had hiked miles through rough terrain and snow fields. She did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
