Battle Ground — Two agencies recently won grants from the Battle Ground Art Alliance for artistic endeavors. The Old Town Battle Ground Association won $500 to support its work on a downtown mural project through the purchase of a photo of a logging truck. The second award, for $200, goes to CDM Services, a senior care agency that helps elderly people stay in their own homes, to purchase art materials. The Battle Ground Art Alliance provides funds on a yearly basis for arts education, projects and programs. More information is available at http://www.bgartalliance.com.
