The Skamania County Sheriff’s Office is planning another search for a California woman who disappeared following the Rainbow Family gathering in Gifford Pinchot National Forest last month.

Marie Hanson, 54, was last seen July 6 at the festival.

Around 20,000 peace activists, outdoor enthusiasts and spiritual seekers converged July 1-7 in Skamania County for the annual gathering. The sheriff’s office has conducted one “extensive search” of the campgrounds for Hanson, officials said.

The sheriff’s office asks that anyone with information on Hanson’s whereabouts call Detective Tim Garrity at 509-427-9490 or email him at timg@co.skamania.wa.us.
