Two men wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks attempted to rob a convenience store clerk early Tuesday morning.
When confronted by the alleged robbers, the store clerk left the building. The suspects didn’t leave with any money and no one was injured.
It is unclear if any other items were stolen in the robbery attempt, Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.
The attempted robbery happened just before 3:30 a.m. at the Arco at 13608 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. Two white men, described as being in their “late teens,” pulled out a gun and demanded money, Kapp said. It is unknown if the gun was real or not, Kapp said.
Vancouver Police Department canvassed the area and called in a K-9 unit but were unable to locate the suspects.
