CHICAGO (AP) — White Sox right fielder Carlos Quentin left Chicago’s game against the Texas Rangers on Saturday night after making a diving catch in the top of the first inning.

Rangers center fielder Craig Gentry blooped a 3-1 pitch from John Danks into right field and Quentin dived to make the catch, tumbled over and came up gripping his left shoulder.

Quentin slowly walked off the field after manager Ozzie Guillen and trainer Herm Schneider spent a couple of minutes with him in the outfield.

Alex Rios entered to play center field and bat fourth. Alejandro De Aza moved from center to right.

Quentin is hitting .255 with 24 homers and 77 RBIs.
