RAYMOND, Wash. (AP) — Police are looking for a man who stabbed a Pacific County resident while she was walking her dog.
KBKW radio reports that the stabbing occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Friday outside a home two miles east of Raymond. Police initially said incorrectly that the stabbing happened during a break-in.
Sheriff Scott Johnson says that before the suspect left, the victim fired a handgun at him.
The suspect was described as being dressed in black. Officials warned residents of the area to keep their doors and windows locked.
