Detectives with the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office released a sketch of a person of interest in the case of a woman reported missing from the Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

Marie C. Hanson, 54, was reported missing from the Rainbow Gathering at Skookum Meadows. She was last seen on the evening of July 6 with the person of interest, the sheriff’s office said in a bulletin.

The person of interest is described as a white male, in his late 40s or 50s. He is said to be 5 feet 8 inches tall and has a thin build. He was wearing many silver necklaces with medallions, had rings on his fingers, and wore a dark-colored jacket and carried a cane, according to the sheriff’s bulletin.

The sheriff’s office asks that anyone with information on Hanson’s whereabouts or the person of interest call Detective Tim Garrity at 509-427-9490 or email him at timg@co.skamania.wa.us.
