LAS VEGAS (AP) — Kaycee Feild won his third straight round in bareback, scoring 90.5 points on Magic Wars on Saturday in the National Finals Rodeo.

The world standings leader, Feild joined John Edwards as the only bareback riders to sweep the first three rounds in the finals. Edwards accomplished the feat in 1969.

Pete Hawkins, 1999, was the last previous bareback rider to win three consecutive rounds.

Feild, from Payson, Utah, has earned $194,313 this season. Second-place Will Lowe of Canyon, Texas, who placed fourth in the third round with an 84.5 on Dakota Babe, has made $145,134 in 2011.

Steven Dent of Mullen, Neb., was second with an 89.5 on Full Baggage.
