GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — The Phoenix Coyotes have sent forward Patrick O’Sullivan to their AHL affiliate in Portland, Maine.

The move was announced Tuesday by Phoenix general manager Don Maloney before the Coyotes played at Nashville.

O’Sullivan has two goals and one assist in 17 games with Phoenix this season.

The 26-year-old O’Sullivan has previously played in the NHL for Carolina and Minnesota and was a second-round pick of the Wild in the 2003 draft.
