All-league picks announced for small schools

King’s Way Christian sophomore Jay Becker was selected as the Coastal 1B League’s most valuable player, leading the Knights to their first state playoff appearance.

Becker was joined on the Coastal 1B all-league first team by teammates running back Cody Krippner, receiver Chris Crenshaw and defensive tackle Brad Benton.

Seton Catholic’s Cheyenne Cunning was the 2B/1B Columbia Valley League MVP in volleyball.

Ridgefield’s Jordyn Voyles was the offensive MVP and Lizzie Vance was the defensive MVP on the 1A Trico League all-league girls soccer team.
