Letter: Rent increase for theater is wrong

I am writing this letter regarding the ridiculous increase in rent for the Slocum House Theatre Company. I find this to be a real slap in the face for them. I was vice president of the board for 10 years and we did all the maintenance and care ourselves, along with having a full-time caretaker to watch and take care of the house.

This increase could break the theater company, which would be so sad as they do great shows.

This is really a stupid move on the part of the city.
