Prairie’s Comeau places fifth at 3A/2A bowling

Prairie’s Katryn Comeau bowled here worst game of the day in the final game, but it was still good enough to earn the senior fifth place at the Class 3A/2A state bowling championship in University Place.

Comeau bowled games ranging from 175 to 191 in the first five games, but finished with a 158 to finish with a total of 1064. Fort Vancouver’s Kelcee Humphrey place sixth with a six-game total of 1040. Mountain View’s Alex Lanning placed 11th at 1020.

Evergreen’s Morgan Taylor finished with a 202 game to tally 1035 and placed fifth in the 4A tournament. Union’s Sarah Dolan was 11th at 973.

The tournament concludes today with baker games in the team competition.
