HOUSTON (AP) — Isiah Williams scored a game-high 24 points, including six 3-pointers, to lift Utah Valley to a 73-66 victory over Houston Baptist on Saturday night.

The Wolverines (14-9, 6-1 Great West) took the lead early in the first half and never let it go. They led by as many as 17 points shortly after halftime.

Geddes Robinson snagged a double-double for the Wolverines with 11 points and a game-high 14 rebounds while Jordan Swarbrick added 19 points.

The Huskies (3-19, 2-5) pulled within four points with about a minute left when Andrew Gonzalez hit a jumper and then made a quick layup. Houston Baptist got no closer after that.

Gonzalez finished with a team-high 21 points while Shawn Echols added 13, Michael Moss 11 and Terry Bembry 10 for the Huskies.
