SALEM, Ore. (AP) — A man accused of beating his neighbor to death in Salem was ordered held without bail after his arraignment Monday, as the case goes to a grand jury.
Forty-four-year-old Robert Bryan Darling is accused of killing 51-year-old Rickey Leonard Delepine Saturday at his home.
The Statesman Journal reports Darling told detectives they were drinking together and arguing when Darling said he “snapped” and punched and kicked Delepine.
