POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — Kate Oliver scored 19 points to help No. 21 Marist beat Fairfield 60-45 on Sunday for the Red Foxes’ school-record 23rd straight win.

Erica Allenspach had 11 points and seven rebounds to help Marist (27-2, 18-0 MAAC) become just the second team in league history to finish unbeaten in conference play since it went to an 18-game schedule. The Red Foxes also accomplished the feat in 2007-08.

Marist, tops in the nation in scoring defense at 49.5 points allowed per game, held Fairfield (17-12, 10-8) to just 19 points in the first half.

Brittany McFarlane scored 12 points and Taryn Johnson had 10 for the Stags.
