La Salle routs Binghamton 87-64

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Tyreek Duren scored 18 points as La Salle salvaged the final game in a five-game homestand with an 87-64 rout of Binghamton on Sunday.

Steve Weingarten scored 16 points for La Salle in only 14 minutes. Jerrell Williams added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Explorers (7-7), who ended a four-game losing streak.

The Bearcats (3-10), who were ending an eight-day road trip, got 20 points from Greer Wright. The Bearcats lost their fourth straight after being dominated inside as La Salle outrebounded them 44-23 and outscored them in the paint 48-24.

Duren scored 11 points in the first half as the Explorers rolled to a 52-38 halftime lead. They maintained their dominance by holding Wright to only four second-half points.

Ruben Gillandeaux and Sam Mills also scored in double figures for La Salle with 10 points each.

Moussa Camara had 12 points for Binghamton.
