EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A 28-year-old woman has been sentenced to seven years in prison for a wrong-way drunken driving crash that killed two people and injured two others in Everett, Wash.

The sentence imposed Monday on Camille Spink by Superior Court Judge Larry McKeeman was seven months longer than the prosecutor’s recommendation.

Spink pleaded guilty in November to two counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular assault.

Killed in the Feb. 26 crash were 24-year-old Sheena Blair and 19-year-old Martin Ramirez, both of Tacoma.

The Daily Herald says a blood test hours after the crash showed that Spink’s blood-alcohol level was more than double the legal intoxication threshold of .08 percent.
