A total of 171 participants completed the traditional fun run. Complete results are in the Community Sports Scoreboard.

Local track club awarded grant

The Evergreen Storm Track Club of Vancouver was recently awarded a $1,500 grant by USA Track and Field.

The award was one of 23 grants announced on Dec. 16 by the national organization. Evergreen Storm Track Club organizer Scott Slamp said the money will help cover costs from a recent trip to the U.S. Track and Field Junior Olympics Cross Country Championships in Alabama.

A team of five middle school girls from Clark County placed eighth in team scoring at the national meet.
