Marijuana raids lead to four arrests

PRESS RELEASE – On January 7th, 2011, the Clark-Skamania Drug Task Force executed multiple search warrants as part of an ongoing investigation into the indoor cultivation and distribution of marijuana in the Portland/Vancouver area. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Tactical Detective Unit also participated in the service of these warrants.

These search warrants are part of a continuing investigation which involved earlier search warrants executed on December 21st, 2010, by the Multnomah County Special Investigations Unit and the Clark-Skamania Drug Task Force. These previous search warrants targeted homes in Portland, Gresham, and Vancouver.

Yesterday’s search warrants were executed at the following locations in Vancouver:

3104 NE 168th Ave

16512 NE 29th St

14513 SE 7th St

2005 NE 184th Ave

The following people were taken into custody and booked at the Clark County Jail:

Deip Huynh (40), Possession of Marijuana

Arian Montilla (25), Manufacturing Marijuana

Coung Le (26), Manufacturing Marijuana

Significant amounts of evidence were located as a result of these searches including approximately 300 marijuana plants and approximately 10 pounds of processed marijuana. This investigation is continuing and more arrests are expected.
