ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a 42-year-old Anchorage man who bought heroin in Portland, Ore., and sold it in Alaska has been ordered to forfeit $1 million worth of sale proceeds, including a 1947 Stinson airplane.

Daryl Hunter was also sentenced Wednesday in Anchorage to 60 months in prison following his guilty pleas to 20 counts of money laundering and one count of maintaining a place for the distribution of controlled substances.

The U.S. attorney’s office says Hunter used the profits from the heroin sales to purchase the plane, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade, five golf simulators, two Rolex watches and make a $200,000 cash down payment on an Anchorage restaurant.

The Anchorage Daily News says Hunter no longer owns the restaurant.
