NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Hornets shooting guard Marco Belinelli has left the game between New Orleans and the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night with a sprained right ankle.
Belinelli was hurt early in the first quarter when he came down awkwardly after trying to tap out a rebound.
He was taken to the locker room for treatment before ultimately being ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Belinelli has started all 38 of the Hornets’ games this season, averaging 11.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in 28.3 minutes per game.
