Eugene police make arrest in coffee stand robbery

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Eugene police say they have arrested a 27-year-old man in a Nov. 24 armed robbery at a Dutch Bros. coffee stand that ended when a barista fatally shot one man.

The coffee shop employee, who has not been identified, shot and killed 27-year-old Sirus Combs of Eugene. Police have been looking for an accomplice who fled the scene.

On Friday, police announced they have arrested Brandon Lee Plunk for investigation of attempted aggravated murder, manslaughter, burglary and robbery.

The barista was not charged.
