Texas-Arlington defeats Stephen F. Austin 62-52

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) — LaMarcus Reed had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Texas-Arlington to a 62-52 victory over Stephen F. Austin on Saturday night.

Bo Ingram added 14 points for the Mavericks (9-9, 3-2 Southland Conference).

Dion Prewster had 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Lumberjacks (11-5, 2-2).

Texas-Arlington led 30-25 at intermission and maintained its cushion throughout the second half. Reed and Darius Richardson hit 3-pointers to help give the Mavericks a 50-38 lead with 6:53 remaining, and Stephen F. Austin got no closer than seven the rest of the way.
