ORONO, Maine (AP) — Troy Barnies scored 20 points and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead Maine to a 64-50 win over New Hampshire on Tuesday night.
The Black Bears (13-7, 7-1 America East Conference) have won 13 of their last 17 meetings against New Hampshire and six straight overall.
Maine posted a 45-31 rebounding edge and outscored the Wildcats (8-12, 2-6) in the paint 29-19.
Tyrone Conley, New Hampshire’s leading scorer at 14.3 points per game, finished with only five points after going 1 for 8 from the floor.
