DURBAN, South Africa (AP) — The IOC has selected a host city for the 2018 Winter Olympics in the first round of voting, and the winner will be announced at about 11 a.m. EDT.
International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge announced the election was over after just one round of the secret ballot.
The candidates are Pyeongchang, South Korea; Munich; and Annecy, France.
