SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. (AP) — Swingman Brian Oliver has transferred from Georgia Tech to Seton Hall.

Oliver, a 6-foot-6, 226-pound native of Glassboro, N.J., averaged 8.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 58 games with the Yellow Jackets. He averaged 10.5 points and 4.5 rebounds last year, as Georgia Tech finished 13-18.

A 3-point specialist, he connected on 6-of-11 shots from long range and scored a game-high 32 points in a 80-76 loss to Syracuse on Nov. 27.

As a freshman, Oliver appeared in every game for Georgia Tech and averaged nearly 20 minutes in ACC action.

Oliver played four years at William Penn High School in New Castle, Del.
