Letter: Limit the sale and use of fireworks

The Columbian
Published: July 7, 2011, 12:00am

Once again, we are being assaulted by the rude and juvenile behavior of a few. The Fourth of July was on Monday but in my neighborhood the explosions started on June 28 — and increased to such a level as to be unbearable. We were subjected to explosions that make my whole house shake.

I think it’s time the city of Vancouver takes a closer look at the fireworks that are being sold. We do not need explosions of that size.

Sale and use of fireworks should be limited to the 4th only. Is that not the day they are intended for?
