UNIONDALE, N.Y. (AP) — The New York Islanders say they have agreed with forward Jeremy Colliton on a one-year, two-way contract.

Financial terms weren’t released Thursday.

The 25-year-old Colliton had two goals and one assist in 15 games with the Islanders last season. He also had 18 goals and 27 assists in 53 games with New York’s AHL Bridgeport affiliate. Colliton is the career leading scorer at Bridgeport with 176 points — 66 goals and 110 assists — in 285 games.

Colliton was selected by the Islanders in the second round of the 2003 draft with the No. 58 pick. In 57 career NHL games with New York, Colliton has three goals and three assists. He spent the 2009-10 season in the Swedish Elite League before returning to the Islanders organization in 2010-11.
