Letter: Ignite a referendum

The Columbian
Published: July 16, 2011, 12:00am

Enough fireworks letters. The subject is obviously of concern to many so the only reasonable action is to get a referendum on the ballot. It shouldn’t be hard to write one like Oregon’s or even Florida’s law and the people will have spoken their opinion by their votes. But for heaven’s sake don’t let a few politicians decide the issue behind closed doors.
