Van Mall — Dick Hannah Dealerships has donated an eight-passenger van to the Vancouver Police Activities League. The league can use it to transport youth and equipment to events as needed.

Vancouver Police Chief Cliff Cook accepted the keys at Fisticuffs Gym, 5107 N.E. 94th Ave., on July 7.

The timing is right, since summer is here and youth activities are in full swing. The league, a nonprofit organization, is considered an important crime-prevention program and you can learn more at http://vancouverpal.com.
