GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas (AP) — A police chief says a gunman has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after killing five other people and injuring three at a North Texas roller rink.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram says Grand Prairie Police Chief Steve Dye announced the new details late Saturday at a news conference outside Forum Roller World. Dye says the cause was an apparent domestic disturbance between a husband and wife. Police haven’t identified the names or ages of the victims.
Police spokesman John Brimmer says the gunman was pronounced dead at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
The injured survivors were taken to hospitals, and their conditions weren’t disclosed.
