OSLO, Norway (AP) -- The lawyer for the suspect who attacked Norway's capital and a nearby island tells The Associated Press that he doesn't know why he was chosen by his client to provide a defense.
Anders Behring Breivik has confessed to the twin attacks that stunned Norway, saying he wanted to save Europe from Muslim immigration.
Geir Lippestad said in an exclusive interview Tuesday that his client's attacks were absurd and horrible.
At least 76 people died in the rampage last week.
